The Danube is a river of many names that reflect the histories, peoples and cultures related to the river. This animation takes note of some of the functions, memories and stories connected to this section of the Danube which is also the border between Romania and Serbia. It is also impressions from travelling along and on the river in November 2024. Maps, drawings, scientific illustration, illustrations presented to tourists and footage from a 360 camera are combined to represent the experience as a sketch of the river Danube as a waterway of memories, social and political histories. Rivers and fjords connect people through historical, economic and cultural relationships.
